Where is an apology or another solution? All in all a joke for $525 a night don’t waste your time or money on this dump … I asked the gentleman at desk when it would be fixed he said he had no idea. Broken system- when we got to the pool 10 mins after i went to get ice cream and water and their “system” was broken, can’t buy anything on a super hot day. Id you can’t meet the needs of your guests then stop promoting the hotel till you can do so 7. Well hey managers why don’t you use your brain and understand during summer months and busy times you should staff and hire appropriately. Food- the Canyon grille restaurant has a 30 min wait and most was closed because they are short staffed as the hostess said. Why not leave extra so we don’t have to wait 1 hour for your slow maid service to bring more 6. Towels- we had a room for 3 and had 2 big towels. Beds- felt like we’re sleeping on iron boards the bed squeeked and felt like it would fall apart any minute 5. They look dumb- founded at whatever questions we asked. There are a bunch of inexperienced clerks at front that look so confused at all times and have no clue how to make Guests feel welcome or resolve problems. We wasted 1+’hours of time we paid for not being able to use our room or amenities. They told us we need 15 more mins then another 14 then another 30. Check in - HORRIBLE we got there exactly at 4 which is the documented time for the hotel. Liability much ? The Rec room also has broken arcade games 3. The splash pad has the foam mat parts that are missing in big chunks who I is dangerous for kids to trip over. The resort needs repair in a lot of areas. Where’s the service ? How about a heads up so we don’t get wet? Not to mention that’s disgusting 2. When we left our room by the door has a leak with water splashing down on it. It’s a pain getting around we stayed at Spyglass building and to go to the main area of resort he had to talk the stroller on the street, and my husband has to carry it up and down tons of stairs otherwise we would have to do a big circle and walk. No stroller walk ways- this place says kid friendly but it’s walkways sure aren’t. Nice places to sit and hang out fire pits waterfalls, little shops to walk around CONS 1. the villa was nice and clean and fully equipped so that was one saving grace. The worst was the high pressure sales with insults sprinkled on top. overall, a poor experience and I will never return, even at other less busy months. we had to check out a day early due to a family emergency and the manager did agree to refund a night, but there was miscommunication between her and her staff and we were told there was an error and we were charged extra. Wrong! lots of pressure to buy timeshare and a very insulting sales man. upon check in, they convinced us to go to a presentation in exchange for zoo tickets and swore nothing was going to be sold. People everywhere! Only one overpriced restaurant with poor service (except the bartender who was great). staff said that July is the busiest month, however the crowds were excessive and it was hard to relax. hot tub broken and a boy there said it had been broken for 3 years. the 7th was adults only, so that was out. The Welk was so crowded that my son and I could not go to any of the 6 family pools.
